At 1252 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Daleville, or 11 miles north of Meridian, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Meridian Station, Lauderdale, and Tamola around 1255 PM CDT.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
