Description: 
At 650 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Rockport, or 13 miles east of Hazlehurst, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Georgetown, Oma, Rockport, and Union around 655 PM CDT. Shivers around 700 PM CDT. New Hebron around 710 PM CDT.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
