At 627 PM CDT, Even though heavy rain has ended, runoff from excessive rainfall will continue to cause flash flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Monroe City, Paris, Santa Fe, Stoutsville, Florida and Indian Creek. This includes the following State Parks... Union Covered Bridge Historic Site and Mark Twain Lake Recreational Area.
