At 1054 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles south of Corning to Skidmore to near Hiawatha, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Automated weather station. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Maryville, Mound City, Burlington Junction, Hopkins, Maitland, Skidmore, Blanchard, Graham, Clearmont, Elmo, Pickering, Quitman, and Fortescue. This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 78 and 85.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for northwestern Missouri. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms.
