Description:
At 454 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 6
miles west of Swiss to 7 miles southwest of Bland, or along a line
from 11 miles southwest of Hermann to 14 miles southwest of
Owensville, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Westphalia, Loose Creek, Frankenstein, Linn, Rich Fountain,
Freeburg, Mount Sterling, Bland, Bay, Canaan, Owensville, Drake,
Rosebud and Oak Hill.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
