* At 338 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles northeast
of Broadus, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. Golf Ball size hail was
reported with these storms near Olive in Powder River
County.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Broadus, Powderville and Olive.
This replaces the previous warning for NE Powder River County.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm has produced dangerous hail
and is capable of producing damaging winds.
This storm is capable of producing all types of severe weather
including extremely large hail, destructive straight line winds, and
tornadoes. Move quickly to a safe shelter such as an interior room, a
bathroom, closet or basement.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
