The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Red Flag

from 10 AM to 8 PM CDT Thursday.
* WINDS...For the rest of today, from the south sustained 25 to 35

west-northwest sustained 15 to 20 MPH and gusting up to around
30 MPH.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Although relative humidity levels will
not drop quite as low as they do during most Red Flag
Warnings, the combination of the strong south winds and the
pronounced lack of precipitation in recent months will
nonetheless result in heightened wildfire danger.
Instruction:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
