...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED THURSDAY... ...A RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 8 PM CDT THURSDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY... * WINDS...West to northwest winds of between 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10-15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For the rest of today's Warning: Although relative humidity levels will not drop quite as low as they do during most Red Flag Warnings, the combination of the strong south winds and the pronounced lack of precipitation in recent months will nonetheless result in heightened wildfire danger.
