Description: 
At 617 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Grand Island to Trumbull to Roseland. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Grand Island, Hastings, Phillips, Roseland, Trumbull, and Ayr around 625 PM CDT. Giltner and Inland around 630 PM CDT. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 311 and 329.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
