...RED FLAG WARNING UNTIL 8 PM FOR NORTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO, AREAS ALONG AND EAST OF THE SANDIA AND MANZANO MOUNTAINS, AND THE MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY... .West to northwest wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will continue with subcritical humidity of 7 to 12 percent. Any new fire starts will be able to spread rapidly. * AREA AND TIMING...Northeast Plains and Highlands (Zones 104 and 123), Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124), Central Highlands (Zone 125), and East Central Plains (Zone 126) through 8 PM MDT. * 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest to west 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values of 7 to 12 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
