At 420 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles east of Conchas, or 21 miles northwest of Tucumcari, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of East Central San Miguel County. This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 78 and 91.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail.
