At 529 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near McKittrick
Canyon, or 12 miles northeast of Pine Springs, moving northeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Lincoln National Forest, and Queen.
