South Central Sandoval County in north central New Mexico... * Until 400 PM MDT. * At 320 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Torreon, or 15 miles northwest of Rio Rancho, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Rio Rancho, Northern Meadows, Mariposa, Rio Rancho City Center and Enchanted Hills. This includes Highway 550 between Mile Markers 4 and 13.
