Description:
At 330 PM MDT, Surface observations a line of showers and blowing
dust extending from 7 miles southeast of Marquez to 11 miles west of
Belen, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and blowing dust reducing
visibility.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Albuquerque, western Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, Belen, Valencia, Los
Ranchos De Albuquerque, Bosque Farms, South Valley and Isleta
Pueblo.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 132 and 161. Interstate 25 between
Mile Markers 192 and 229.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Blowing dust associated with strong outflow winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
