Description:
At 845 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms extending from over Mesa to 19 miles east of Arabela,
moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mesa.
This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 120 and 158.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
