At 516 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Fremont, or 14 miles west of Farmville, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Wilson, Fremont, Pinetops, Stantonsburg, Black Creek, Pikeville, Macclesfield, Saratoga, Eureka, and Willbanks. This includes NC Highway 264 between Mile Markers 44 and 56.
