Description:
At 637 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Butner, or near Creedmoor, and is nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, half inch hail, heavy rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Durham, Henderson, Oxford, Creedmoor, Butner, Franklinton, Kittrell,
Stem, Lake Michie, and Falls Lake State Rec Area.
This includes Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 180 and 212.
