...FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR MOST OF WESTERN AND PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN NORTH DAKOTA ON WEDNESDAY... .Critical fire weather conditions are possible on Wednesday across most of western and portions of southern North Dakota. Minimum relative humidity will fall to around 10 to 15 percent in southwest North Dakota, and around 15 to 20 percent across the northwest and far south central. South to southeast winds will be strongest in the southern James River Valley with sustained speeds around 25 to 30 mph, and 20 to 25 mph elsewhere. Gusts up to 40 mph are possible in the northwest and far south central. Any fires that ignite could spread rapidly and become difficult to control. * WINDS...Southeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent. * AFFECTED AREA...Most of western and parts of southern North Dakota. * IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control or suppress.
