Description:
At 1049 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
23 miles west of Alkabo to 13 miles southwest of Bonetrail, or along
a line from 50 miles west of Crosby to 19 miles west of Williston,
moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Grenora, Alamo, Fortuna, Hanks City, Writing Rock State Historical
Site, Bonetrail, Alkabo, Hanks, Zahl, Blacktail Lake and Appam.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
