At 649 PM CDT /549 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near
Grassy Butte, or 33 miles south of Watford City, moving north at 15
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Grassy Butte, Theodore Roosevelt National Park North Unit, South
Fairfield, Fairfield, Oakdale and Little Missouri State Park.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
