Minor coastal flooding of 1 to 2 feet expected. * WHERE...South, west, and north facing reefs and shorelines of Tinian and Saipan. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 11 AM ChST Sunday. For the High Surf Advisory and High Rip Current Risk, until 5 AM ChST Monday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As Typhoon Sinlaku continues to move away, the primary swell and highest surf will be northwest. Seas and surf will be slow to subside over the next couple of days.

Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
