...The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers...
Great Miami River at Miamitown.
Great Miami River near Middletown.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Great Miami River near Middletown.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to early Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 12 feet, water approaches structures south of Route
73 between Excello and the Great Miami River. This includes
properties along Oxford Street.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 11.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this afternoon and crest near 12.5 feet early Sunday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 12 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
