Description:
At 259 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles south of Bucyrus to near Marion to near
Richwood. Movement was east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Marion, Mount Gilead, Cardington, Prospect, Morral, Waldo,
Chesterville, Sparta, Caledonia, New Bloomington, Edison, Green Camp,
Marengo, Fulton, Shauck, Iberia, and State Route 229 at US Route 23.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
north central Ohio.
