Description:
At 651 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Gallipolis to near Lake Vesuvius. Movement
was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Ironton, Point Pleasant, Gallipolis, Ripley, Spencer, Winfield,
Hurricane, Milton, Eleanor, Buffalo, Poca, Kenna, Teays Valley,
Culloden, Waterloo, Aid, Bancroft, Crown City, Athalia, and
Henderson.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 121 and 142.
Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 25 and 43.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern Ohio...and western, central and northwestern West
