Southern Klamath County in south central Oregon... * Until 515 PM PDT. * At 435 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of Beatty, or 25 miles east of Klamath Falls, moving west at 40 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. This storm has also produced accumulating hail on road surfaces. SOURCE...Radar indicated and local observations. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Klamath Falls, Hagelstein County Park, Sprague River, Miller Island Klamath Wildlife Area, Midland, Moore Park, Olene, Beatty, Howard Bay Park, Bonanza, Dairy, and Altamont.
