At 328 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a landspout near Portage, moving east northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Altoona, Hollidaysburg, Lakemont, Williamsburg, Duncansville, Canoe Creek State Park, Royer, East Freedom, Newry, Peoples Natural Gas Field, and Lakemont Park And Island Waterpark.
