Description:
* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents.
* WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas.
* WHEN...Through Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A northeast to east swell will continue support
a high risk of rip currents tonight and into Tuesday. The easterly
swell will slowly subside through the day Tuesday and should allow
the risk of rip currents to drop to moderate Tuesday evening along
east facing reefs.
Instruction:
Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
