Description: 
At 206 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Aurora, or 11 miles east of Denver, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Locations impacted include... Southeastern Aurora, northeastern Centennial, Arapahoe Park and Buckley SFB.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Heavy rain is occurring with this storm and may lead to flooding.
