Northwestern St. Louis County in northeastern Minnesota... * Until noon CDT. * At 1053 AM CDT, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from Ash Lake to near Bena to 7 miles south of Akeley, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 20 mph. SOURCE...Radar and webcams. IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. Snow squall will affect US-2 and US-53. Locations impacted include...
