At 1118 AM CDT, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from 6 miles west of Crane Lake to near Ball Club to near Hackensack, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts up to 20 mph. SOURCE...Radar and webcams. IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. Snow Squall will affect US-2 and US-53. Locations impacted include... Hibbing, Grand Rapids, Cohasset, Coleraine, Nashwauk, Deer River, Cook, Marcell, Bigfork, Taconite, Nett Lake, Orr, Meadow Brook, Ash Lake, Effie, Bena, Squaw Lake, Zemple, Crane Lake, and Gheen.
