At 410 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northeast of Hamilton Branch State Park, or 20 miles north of Martinez, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Edgefield, Saluda, Johnston, Ridge Spring, Aiken Municipal Airport, Saluda County Airport, Edgefield County Airport, Trenton, Ward, Lick Fork Campground, Strom Thurmond High School, Saluda Co Sheriff's Office, Harmony, Pleasant Lane, Northside Fire Station Main, Emory, Cleora, Colliers, Edgefield Federal Correction Institution, and Saluda High School. This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 17 and 21.
