At 612 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Gadsden, or near McEntire Air Base, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Sumter, McEntire Air Base, Shaw Air Base, Eastover, Congaree National Park, Hopkins, Oakland, Gadsden, Poinsett State Park, Horrel Hill, Dinkins Mill, Fort Motte, Wedgewood, and Stateburg. This includes the following highways... Interstate 26 between mile markers 132 and 134. Interstate 77 near mile marker 7.
