Description: 
At 920 PM MDT/1020 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking multiple strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 2 miles east of George Town to 4 miles northeast of LaCreek North Housing to 5 miles southeast of Slim Buttes Housing. Movement was east at 25 MPH. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 MPH and dime to nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Pine Ridge, Martin, Porcupine, Kyle, Wanblee, Manderson, Allen, Wounded Knee, Long Valley, Norris, Batesland, Tuthill, Hisle, Black Pipe, Wakpamni, George Town, Number 4, LaCreek North Housing, Vetal, and Corn Creek.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. If you observe hail, wind damage, or flooding, please report your observations to the National Weather Service office in Rapid City via phone, email, or social media, as soon as it is safe to do so. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT/midnight CDT/ for south central and southwestern South Dakota.
