Description:
At 734 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Myakka City, or 20 miles northwest of Arcadia, moving southwest at 5
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Gator Creek Estate, Myakka River State Park, Lake Manatee State Park,
The Meadows, Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota Springs, Myakka City, Lake
Sarasota, Desoto Lakes, Hidden River, Sarasota, North Sarasota,
Fruitville, Parrish, Kensington Park, Sarasota Bradenton Airport,
Southgate, Bee Ridge, Samoset, and Ellenton.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
