Description:
At 142 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Kings Bay Base to Arlington. Movement was
northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, St. Marys, Kingsland, Fernandina Beach, Orange Park,
Woodbine, Jacksonville International Arpt, Unf, Kings Bay Base, and
Mandarin.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for northeastern
Florida...and southeastern Georgia.
