At 420 PM HST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Maunawili, or 7 miles east of Honolulu, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Iwilei, Waimanalo, Kalama Valley, Kahana Valley State Park,
Makiki-Tantalus, Hawaii Loa Ridge, Hawaii Kai, Makiki, Ahuimanu,
Waialae Iki, Heeia, Sandy Beach, Kalihi, Kakaako, Waimanalo Beach,
Bellows Air Force Station, Waiahole, Moanalua, Pearl City, and Koko
Crater.
