Description:
At 1037 AM HST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Kamuela to 6 miles
northeast of Kalaoa to 18 miles west of Hawaiian Ocean View. Movement
was northeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Waipio Valley, Hawi, Mahukona, Honaunau, Kamuela, Kawaihae,
Kahaluu-Keauhou, Kealakekua, Kapaau, Puako, Kailua-Kona, Captain
Cook, Puuanahulu, Waikoloa Village, Kainaliu, Honalo, Pololu Valley,
Kohala Ranch, Kalaoa, and Halaula.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
