Description:
At 1233 PM HST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over the North and South Hilo Districts and Puna
moving east at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Hawaiian Acres, Wainaku, Orchidlands Estates, Hilo, Glenwood, Keaau,
Fern Forest, Papaikou, Hawaiian Beaches, Nanawale Estates, Volcano,
Kurtistown, Paukaa, Hawaiian Paradise Park, Eden Roc, Leilani
Estates, Fern Acres, Pahoa, Ainaloa, and Mountain View.
