At 1138 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Atlanta, or 12 miles northeast of Lincoln, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Heyworth, Atlanta, McLean, and Shirley. This includes Interstate 55 between mile markers 139 and 153.
