At 1159 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Heyworth, or 10 miles south of Bloomington, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Le Roy, Heyworth, and Downs. This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 138 and 150.
