At 857 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Tri-lakes to near South Whitley. Movement was east at 70 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Fort Wayne, New Haven, Decatur, Columbia City, Ossian, Tri-lakes, Huntertown, Churubusco, South Whitley, Antwerp, Woodburn, Monroeville, Payne, Grabill, Aboite, Leo-cedarville, Middletown, Roanoke, Preble, and Zanesville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 469 between mile markers 0 and 30. Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 293 and 320.
