Description:
Scattered snow squalls with strong wind gusts - as high as 40 mph
- will continue into the first part of the night. Quick
accumulations of 0.5 to 1.5 inches of snow can be expected through
midnight, particularly on grassy and elevated surfaces. Roadways
could become briefly snow-covered and slushy under the heaviest
snowfall rates along with sharply reduced visibilities.
Additional, spotty, accumulations of up to 1 inch cannot be ruled
out overnight. Watch for icy patches on area roads - especially
for bridges and overpasses - as the temperatures drop into, and
through, the 20s tonight.
