At 153 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Meally, or near Paintsville, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Paintsville, Prestonsburg, Inez, Warfield, Add, Pilgrim, Oaklawn Estates, Fitz, Davella, Whitehouse, Meally, Prince, Collista, West Van Lear, Williamsport, Offutt, Milo, Job, Lovely, and Buffalo. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... Kentucky Highway 3 in Floyd County between mile markers 1 and 4. Kentucky Highway 3 in Johnson County Kentucky Highway 3 in Martin County between mile markers 1 and 9. U.S. Highway 23 in Floyd County between mile markers 18 and 21.
