Description: 
At 316 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Joaquin to 15 miles south of Many, or extending from 17 miles northeast of Center to 31 miles southwest of Natchitoches, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Mansfield, Many, Stonewall, Zwolle, Logansport, Joaquin, Converse, Oak Grove, Pleasant Hill, Florien, Provencal, Huxley, South Mansfield, Keachi, Noble, Grand Cane, Fisher, Robeline, Longstreet and Stanley.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. If on or near Toledo Bend, get out of the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
