At 915 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Athens, or over Hudson, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Great Barrington, Hudson, Catskill, Saugerties, Chatham, Claverack,
Lee, Lenox, Livingston, Copake, Sheffield, Coxsackie, Clermont,
Athens, Austerlitz, Philmont, Kinderhook, Lorenz Park, Saugerties
South, and Claverack-Red Mills.
This includes Interstate 87 between exits 20 and 21.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

east central New York.
