At 1020 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Philmont, or 9 miles east of Hudson, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Great Barrington, Lee, Otis, Philmont, Housatonic, Claverack-Red
Mills, Stockbridge, Hillsdale, Taghkanic, Monterey, Alford,
Tyringham, Mellenville, Craryville, North Otis, Newsboy Statue,
Glendale, North Hillsdale, Williamsville, and Harlemville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
