Description:
At 1250 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles southwest of Manderson, or 10 miles north of Pine Ridge, moving
northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Porcupine, Manderson, Wounded Knee, Evergreen, Porcupine Butte
Housing, and southern Pine Ridge Reservation.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
