At 451 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles west of Columbus to 10 miles northeast of Greenville Downtown. Movement was northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Columbus, Landrum, Tryon, Campobello, Saluda, Tigerville, Lake Bowen, Lake Robinson, Paris Mountain State Park, and Green Hill.
