Description:
At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Parrottsville, or 11 miles northeast of Newport, moving southeast at
40 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Greeneville, Caney Branch, Cedar Creek, Lowland, Camp
Creek, and Rocky Fork.
Instruction:
