At 646 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northeast of South Plains to 6 miles south of Slide. Movement was southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Lubbock, Brownfield, Slaton, Post, Floydada, Tahoka, Crosbyton, Matador, White River Lake, Idalou, Ralls, Lorenzo, Ransom Canyon, Quitaque, Kalgary, Grassland, Cee Vee, Dougherty, Slide, and Northfield.
